Trying to take advantage of both the weather and the presence of the volcanic ash cloud I headed for the coast for sunset last night. This post might be a little rough as it has been a busy day and I am about to go out to catch sunset tonight. It has been raining quite a bit over the past few days and the ground on the moors would be very wet so, given a forecast of reasonable weather, I headed towards the coast. The Little Egret seen above is not an uncommon species in the West Country these days but [...] It was a while since I had headed in the direction of Plymouth however I had to go there anyway so the camera was with me. I visited various spots on the eastern side of the Sound including Bovisand and Jennycliff.
