A couple of short walks today produced some nice pictures. Looking over Totnes towards the south of the moors gave me this one.
Looking up the River Dart at Totnes showed how cold it was last night. Bear in mind that the Dart is tidal and so salty at this [...] A quick post and a follow up to a couple of other ones. It has continued to rain heavily for some days now. My last post here showed the water level at salmon leap on the River Dart a week back. This is the same spot yesterday. The concrete channel – [...] The UK has been suffering from some fairly substantial rainfall over the past week or so (high winds too). The Westcountry has not been as badly affected as the north west for example but rivers have risen substantially and there has been some flooding.
I’ve wanted to try and get [...] I was down on the river Dart in Totnes yesterday morning with the camera. It was a particularly high tide combined with the result of heavy rain on Dartmoor recently.
