We went down to Blackpool Sands on a mostly sunny day and I got quite a few shots there and, a little later, at Slapton. The above is looking out over Start Bay – the combination of the light on the water and the cloud was great.

I looked out quite early and realised it was not a day for being in the valley of the river Dart. In spring and autumn mist will often remain in the valley for quite some time. However there was the promise of some sun to come.
Having caught up with the backlog of the holiday snaps I started working on the relatively small number I’ve taken since I’ve been back and wondering about my next post.
