I guess I was in a thoughtful mood while I was out today and the title of this occurred to me while I was driving up to the moors. We have had a few frosty mornings over the past few days (temperatures around -3 deg C) but this was the [...] When I take a series of photos I try and decide whether there is anything that might be interesting for a blog posting. We headed for Sennen Cove early on one of the mornings in Cornwall and walked from there to Lands End. Sennen is a beautiful area and the beach is great – usually crowded with surfers if there is a good swell it was almost deserted when we got [...] I’m just back from a break in Cornwall. We stayed in the far west close to Penzance. Heading down there it was a good day weather wise so we stopped off on route to make the most of the sunshine.
First stop was the small cove of Chapel Porth. It [...] Another of those days when I set out in hope of a walk. This time I had not driven far before I realised I was unlikely to get much of a walk in and I planned to be back for the afternoon to watch the rugby so my time was a bit limited. [...] When I decided to start this blog I was fairly sure I would have to try and fit in a few postings that were not about Dartmoor to allow some slight balance. It saddens me that this is really only the second post on what is my favourite area of the West Country. [...] |
